I also think having seperate sections for each generation of car is good and can be done very clean.
make 1 thread IE: "camaro tech" or something
when it is clicked 4 sub catagories are available
1st
2nd
3rd
4th gen
then post in the topic area you want?

I'd like one myself but not for using as a racing tool; only for the thought that it's under there :) Thats an expensive toy just for piece of mind. I think you need to visit your local dragway and run your camaro......I think you will be pumping up that car very fast. 3"catback,larger TB and runne...

I've been a moderator on countless messageboards but i dropped many of them because I didn't have the time at the time. I am still a moderator for a few sections on an s-series site but might drop that too because i no longer own an s-series and the site has grown so much it has a few thousand membe...

I can't remember if 3rd gen 4 bangers and v6's have 1 tail pipe or not
but if they do all you need is a muffler with 1 in 2 out like ther z28's.

if you want true duals,it will cost you.
it would be cheaper to get a boneyard 350 and drop it in. IMO

I would agree with the alternator as well.
Unless your motor has underdrive pulleys.
get a voltmeter or take the alt in and get a load test,it should read at 12V or higher.
if it dips under 12V then it's time for a new one

This is a bit extreme but......
you need a new motor. It could be a little problem but it also could be many BIG problems, piston slap is bad,and it may also be your bearings, the dealership is going to keep screwing you so the best way to get a new motor is to blow up the one you got.

pick up some full length headers with 2.5 collectors
run 2.5 all the way to 2.5 in/out flowmaster 40 series and no tail pipes just dump it.
