Whoa it's been a long time. My engine is finally in with tranny and driveshaft, getting real close to firing her up. Anyway, my question is....does anyone know where i can get white faced guages to replace the existing gauges in my 1982 Z28? I hate the speedo, so worst case, i'll just change that on...

I have finally got my engine block out of the machine shop. When i put it together in the next couple weeks, when i have time, it will be a healthy 383. Should be pushing just over 400 HP and torq if all goes as planned. Then i just have to find a 6spd tranny before i bolt it in the Z. Then i just n...

Actually, the 4th gen console had crossed my mind, as a replacement. I just wondered if anyone on here had tried anything other than stock 3rd gen consoles in their 3rd gen before. Hey RoughSkin, if you wouldn't mind emailing me some pics that'd be great. i'd love to see how it worked out for you. A...

Has anyone ever taken out the console and done a complete custom job. For example replace auto. with stick. I'm planning on putting in 6spd in place of my auto. i was considering just coming up with some type of console on my own (or with the help of interior professional). I was just wondering if a...

Sorry to hear event didn't pan out that well as hoped. Lots of cool cars anyway. Would have been good just to see all the Camaro's and others in one spot. Hopefully i'll be able to make it if it happens again. Sounds like you guys really screwed it up for another chance  JUST KIDDING. I can see...

I used to have an '81 Z28 and then an '87 IROC, both had t-tops. with the '81 over the winter and spring (rainy seasons) i'd coat the seals with vaseline. worked like a charm. then when the nicer whether came out and the t-tops would be off more, i'd wipe the vaseline off so that if i was to reach u...

Wow, Great job on the model. I've got a bit of a shrine myself. It started out as Camaro stuff, but has moved on to add Chevy, and Dale Earnhardt Sr. and Jr. and NASCAR stuff. also some motorbike stuff and old baseball stuff (from old relatives  ). And of course some Dukes of Hazzard stuff.

i wouldn't go too far with 2 lugnuts on, and i'm told that drag strip officials like to be able to see that your wheels are on securely, ie longer studs. I guess that's why they advertise the open ended lugnuts as racing lugnuts for longer studs?? that's just what i've been told and my opinion from ...

Anyone know exactly how they work, ie does the wheel make a difference on the length of lugnut i should buy? I've got the longer studs so that when i do eventually finish the car and take it racing that there won't be an issue at any tracks re wheels coming off. My main question is, what should i bu...

I like it, it looks cool. Only there are similarities to the new Challenger, Charger, and Mustang......all new cars seem to be going to a 'similar' look, it looks good, but they all look kinda similar. At least there are a few differences to keep em seperate, one major one being that it's got the bo...

ya it's pretty sad to see a Camaro, or any cool car really, that has been neglected so much to get to that point. How do people do that?

i have heard they are a good idea too. i'm probably gonna put them in my car, better safe than sorry. Looks like you can get em fairly cheap, here's a link to Jegs pricing, for reference.

I am putting a ford 9" into mine, with 3.70 gears. i'm looking to buy a T56 6spd in the near future for it too. I was told after i had my 9" nearly completed, that with technology today, the Chevy 10 bolts can be beefed up enough to handle the power, and the 12 bolts are almost as strong as the 9" a...
