Hey It's like to see not everyone has given up on the message board (and site) until I get the new Camarosource.ca V5.0 up :-)

Yeah I usually at least check in when I have some time. It might not always be very often, but it does happen :)

For years I tried to keep things moving freely so the locks would work properly, the factory actuators seemed strong enough. I kinda gave up after a while. But I recently installed some new actuators I got from the parts store (direct replacement style, might have been from NAPA) and the locks work ...

It was the AutoSol. I've also found similar results with Simichrome I think it's called.

I don't see any of the gens on the road that often anymore, but 3rd and 4th are definitely more common than 1st and 2nd unless it's a car show parking lot. I recently spent the last month in Nebraska, there were a lot more 3rd gens to be found than here in Ohio.

I can't think of what the metal polish is called right now, but I use it because of you. Remember when you had spots all over your wheels from a car wash? That's when I ordered the same stuff you did.

Cool! I've always wanted one with those exact options, I like the little spoiler on some of the 88's too. I'd really like one in yellow or maui blue.

Yeah, I know what you mean about the 5th gen. I see at least a few everyday, but maybe only one of another generation everyday. And it's funny how time gets away from you, I still don't think of my 3rd gens as being very old, and certainly not the 4th gens. But they are. I was recently driving behin...

I remember several years back there was a pretty good infestation of spam, traffic died down a bit starting then. It also seems that new members were signing up left and right, nowadays not so much. What's different between now and then?

Two things are likely. Lack of flow (radiator or thermostat maybe) or possibly a blown head gasket.

How long have you had the problem? Did it start all at once?

I still check in from time to time. All my Camaros have been sitting for the most part... one has been waiting for a speed density conversion and some suspension upgrades, one has a resto started and no progress since, and the other one just sits for someday to come. I've spent most of my time messi...

I can't say for sure, but Wagner ThermoQuiet pads probably do. They are great pads for a car that sees a lot of street time too. Good braking, long wear, no squeaks, and very little brake dust. Only downside I've found is a relatively long break-in period.

I bought a Champion radiator off ebay as it was pretty cheap but the welds looks descent so i bought it and works awesome.

Me too. Bought one for my Impala, the quality was pretty good, so I bought one for my Suburban too. I'll probably end up getting one for the Camaro when I need one.
