I need at least a Engine cradle/ k member that i can mock my other lt1 in to begin the build along with power steering rack and front sway bar. I would really like a full front cli...

I ordered some blue caliper paint but even tho the can showed it to be a shade of blue similar to my paint, once sprayed it was nearly a BABY BLUE!! I have pics somewhere I'll upload! I had to resort to a High Temp Blue enamel paint for engine which seemed to work pretty good. Kind of pitting now s...

Mine I painted with POR 15 look them up pretty sweet stuff. You can paint right over rust and it kills it. But they also sell brake painting kits. It's thicker and tougher then paint and holds up much better. Fairly inexpensive too.

Dang man those look good as well! Did u get them powered coated? One little thing I like to do with my rotors is tape off the friction surface and paint the hats gives a sweet look not that you can see alot of it just a little detail. Have you looked to see if you can get ls1 brakes to fit your year?

Very shiny! I like it. How much better do they feel? Theynare a little biggger and look alot better, and as far as stopping power there is a noticeable difference. Not huge but noticeable. Also I had a huge problem with my old brakes in the rain when the rotors were wet they wouldn't stop at all ve...

You using FreeScan? I seem to remember that the BLM on mine from left and right didn't match - they were massively different so I just assumed that was A)normal or B)the software was doing something weird. Mine always ran ok.... yeah i am using free scan. There is a normal problem with split BLM's ...

I have a problem i have been trying to track down for while now and can't come up with anything. I have a wideband in my car and i have been tuning with tuner cats and data logging with free scan and when i start my car up, the right side is super lean at idle and 14.7 driving in open loop. (the sam...

i would say its most likely a your front right caliper piston sticking, take it off and push the piston back in caliper but dont push on the brake pedel with them off or you will shoot the pistion out of the caliper. but if you do it carefully you could work them back and forth, also make sure you c...

Oh yeah, loose bolts would definitely cause it to jump back and not engage. Best use some loctite next time, blue stuff not red else you'll never get it off ever again! :-) Nice, what rotors you going to? Make sure they fit behind your wheels before fitting them! Or use it as an excuse to buy some ...

im looking for the same thing. I was always pissed when i had a light go out in my 95, those things are stupid exspensive, I tried and succeeded at work in taking the bulb out of the housing with a little work. It looks as if you can just twist a new bulb in and re seal it. i have found some cheap H...

Yeah that's the most annoying thing about faulty parts - it's all well and good getting a free replacement but it's having to go and change the faulty one out that sucks! I would get it replaced as soon as you can though in case it leaves you stranded somewhere! im in michigan and its still pretty ...

Sounds like you have a sticky solonoid on the starter. If it's not that old, might be worth getting it replaced. You might be able to take it apart and give it a good clean or just replace the solonoid. Some of those motors are horrible to put back together once you've taken them to pieces though! ...

So i built a 383 stroker, and have a really nice performance oriented starter which cost a pretty penny. and i installed it and all seemed to go alright, it did its job. after a few starts it began to no engage and would sprin but not engage the flywheel, and then once you can hear the starter stop ...

Sorry mate, 'HT" are "High Tension" leads, Spark Plug wires you call them over the other site of the pond! (Called HT as they run on the high tension side of the coil, not the low tension) Haha ok thanks for clearing that up. I did put some nice moroso wires on her about 4 years ago ...

Mine used to do that an it turned out to be the HT leads - they worked fine until I hit a certain RPM at a certain throttle load and then it would act like you were hitting the rev limiter. Would be worth checking first as my leads weren't that old and looked in good condition (from what you can te...

No it's not floating at all. The valve train is custom from comp cams with shimmed lifters. It does it say if I'm doing 75mph, and in 6th at say 1600 rpm and give it like 35% throttle
