well , a buddy of mine had his parents buy him a 2005 V-6 Mustang convertible as his first car, and since then he has put a muffler on it and now thinks he's got a really fast car because its a little louder then it used to be.
so we're going to the track on friday so i can hopefully shut him up, only thing is, I put 2.73 gears in my car for the top end, and he's got 3.31's
other then bringing the rpms up to stall speed is there anything else i should do to improve my odds?

Only one simple suggestion. Do not use the burnout box or even drive though it. With street tires, all you'll do is get your tires wet and will loose traction at the start.
