After three atempts to get a second gen camaro we found this one and we drove down the next day to buy it :D And the '69 you ask? My dad has had that scince he was 18. In the '80s however the fan went through the radiator and then life happened. He got married had kids and is just now getting that pesky radiator fixed.

I got mine 1991 camaro RS with V8 and T5 manual gearbox in spring 2006 about 60miles away from my city. I paid about 4000 $ for it, but prices in Europe are different then in US.
Getting one in usa is not possible due the problems with too restrictive legislation for cars older then 8years and made outside of europien union. Hope this will change someday, but for now, its just sucks.

Only the way make it legal is having car made before 1982 to get historical plates.

I was hunting for some 2gen camaro first, i inspected 3cars and the last one really want. It was model 1978 with 350 + T-tops. Would need some work to get historical plates, but i didnt leave deposit becouse there were small problem with carburator, i wait week to get them fix it, but someone was faster and took it

Now im kinda glad for having thirdgen, since i dont know too much about mechanical aspect of cars, its realibity is better, MPG better, and have stick
The only negative think is the white stripes. I will rip them off with new black paint.

But oneday i will get 2gen...

Where Did You Hear Of Camarosource.ca?: From Paul after he contacted me through cardomain.
I have almost had my car for two years. I took it home on January 5, 2005.
And since we are reminising about when we first got our cars...here is the picture from the ad on the internet (buy and sell) - I looked for a bunch of Camaro's on the buy and sell website so I had about a dozen ads printed out...but yeah...this was the first time I saw my car...awww hehe :P

Where Did You Hear Of Camarosource.ca?: Google....many years ago
I got my camaro from a connection through a friend...He had just started dating some chick (now a good friend) Who saw my firebird and started talking to me about her fathers cmaro....then mentioned it was for sale...the next day....I owned it.

The firebird was a slower story...I was in high school and saw this firebird sitting in a dealership that I liked. he wanted 4500 for it. I couldn't afford it. THREE YEARS LATER...I had graduated high school, basic training, and tech school, came home and drove by..it wasn't there. I decided to go in and ask...he said yeah its out back...walk out back and the price tag was dropped to 2500.....I told him I'd give him 2000 cash now. SOLD!!!

Where Did You Hear Of Camarosource.ca?: Through an internet search.
I got mine from a friend of my dad. I wanted a Camaro with a V-8. T-Tops didn't matter, Automatic v.s. 5-speed didnot matter. All that matter was the body style wheels and price. My car is a 1991 RS with a 305 tbi, 5-speed, 25th Anniversary wheels, and T-Tops. We payed $1500 for the car. All it needed was tires, exhaust, and paint. First was the tires, then Flowmaster Exhaust, then a fresh coat of white paint. Oh yeah, I put a 1991 Z-28 grill in it because the RS grill didn't look as good. The bottom line is that you can get a Camaro for a good price if you look hard enough. Good luck, one more piece of advice, if you get a V-6 (and want decent performance) get a 1993 and up because the old 2.8s and 3.1s are not the best. Get a manual trans. too because they are alot more fun because usually they have better gear ratios then automatics. On 1991's 5-speeds had 3.08s and automatics had 2.73s (on RS models), Z-28s may have had different ratios, I can't remember. Any way GOOD LUCK!!! :!:

I got my first camaro from my friends mom. It was sitting in her garage for about 9 years along with tons of other things she didn't want anymore. Me and my buddy were going to turn the garage into a recording studio and after we pulled everything out I noticed that except for the cracked windows, a missing battery, funky zebra seat covers, and spiders all around it, it was a pretty good car. After I pulled it out of the garage I asked her what she wanted for it and she said 800. I let it sit in front of her house for a few days until she was told she would get a fine from the city if she didn't move it. After that she said give her $200 bucks and clean up the rest of the garage and its a deal.

As for my second camaro, my grandparents love me a lot :).

I dont know if anyone remembers that snipper that went on a shooting spree in Maryland a few years back, but I bought my 87 Camaro Type LT from the same dealer who that prick bought his car from. I think I paid about 1800 for it. The sad thing was that when I bought it, the owner before me was a bit confused and put firebird/trans am decals on it.

My 91 Z28 I picked up from a news paper ad. The lady had just gotten a divorce and I guess she got the car in the end and just wanted to get rid of it. She was asking $2800 and I offered $2300 and I drove the car home. My 67 Pro Street Camaro I picked up from a friend that was losing storage, he has probaly 30 cars and the 67 RS I got from another friend that has a car lot.

I drove 450 km to get her, paid $1800 CND with brand new Toyo Proxies on Iroc Mags, Original Z-28 mags w/tires, and Camaro Power Valve Covers.

She's a stock 86, Z-28 T-top

Drove her back 450 km, stopping twice for gas :D
