Sounds good with me although its almost funny how they still think there is going to be a firebird to go along with it. But two v-8 option makes it sound like their putting muscle back into the industry. I'm hoping for one with 450+ torque baby :supz: . Definetly looks to me as if it's official.

most of us do, they've taken all the best features and made them better. I personally like the 'vette styled brake lights

Where Did You Hear Of Camarosource.ca?: Boobs
Since i am laid off for a few week's i was able to do some digging today
heres what i found
Debuting in January Caddy has a CTS with a 3.6 liter v-6 rated at 300 hp
So i am betting where you can guess that motor will be applied hehe

2008 model year the 6.0 LS-2 rated at 395-405 h.p. is going bye bye and to be replaced with the new 6.2 LS-3
The LS-3 6.2 Engine was orginally supossed to be the 2006 Z06's Engine but the Corvette engineer's could only get 480 h.p. out of it so they went with the 7.0 That will all come to know now

So all that leave's alot to the imagination as of what is going on.. Like i told some people my friend saw the Running car at FBODY GATHERING 10 in Atlanta last May and that was the 1st thing he said to me about the car is that it had a 6.2 liter engine
All though GM only claims rightnow a 400 h.p. car i think they have much more than that up their sleave especially knowing that the Mustang gt500 and Challenger are on their way to the street's

It also seem they pushed it ahead maybe due to Dodge giving the green light for the Challenger to start production Jan 07

I think we're going to end up with the usual under rated GM Engine at around 450-500 h.p.
And given the 3500-3600 lb 5 th gen weight up against the other 2 cars at 4000+ lb's the 5 th gen still has the advantage over the competition

Ford is also supposedly having a new V-6 for the Mustang rated at 250-280 h.p.

It looks like there is going to be some powerful car's on the street's in the up coming year's
