Where Did You Hear Of Does not matter
I was talking with a woman who is a representative of the Navy Auto Source about the new Chevy Cobalt and what it's replacing. I thought it was for the Camaro, but it's actually replacing the Cavalier. Then she told me this. GM has plans in motion for a new 5th generation Camaro slated for 2006!! No doubt a smile came on my face. I then felt I should notify this board immediately. Unfortunately, I have no idea what it looks like though. By the way, as it turns out Woody is right about the Firebird. It has been officially replaced by the GTO.

Where Did You Hear Of I am the Administrator :-)
Unfortuntely until it's visually seen with proof, and/or made publically aware by GM, all is speculation and rumors.

It IS quite obvious the Camaro WILL return. There is a reason they chose to use "Hiatus" (To put on hold until a later time) as the offical word for the demise of the Camaro after 2002.

Chevrolet is no way dumb enough to let the HUGE demand for the Camaro slip away. They KNOW very well that when they DO bring it back, the news coverage, the media, and the WORD OF MOUTH will be more incredible than ever imagined.

You don't see other "SAVETHE... com" websites out there.. People have spent their good hard earned $$ to pay for websites like these "Savethecamaro".com websites to get Camaro owners and enthusiasts to petition to ENTICE them to bring it back..

That says a HUGE amount about the car and the customers GM has made with the Camaro. No way GM will let that slip by.. And they KNOW IT. :-) :P
