Yes. If the camaro is reintroduced then the LS2 would be the perfect choice of engine for the Z28 and SS.

Heck if Chevy gets a license with International Race of Champions again they could reintroduce the IROC.

That or Having a Special Edition ZL-1 5th Gen. With Ford bringing back the Shelby GT 500 name, I think for marketing and coolness GM should need to bring back a name.

Bring it back if they're gonna' do-it-right, if not, bring it back BUT call it something else other than a Camaro. While the Charger & Goat still go by name, neither one is dope to me. And the retro Mustang is a joke...O.K. the Saleen is kinda kool, but $48,000 for an 'appearance pckg.'!!! Puuullleeez---Oh wait, there's an $11,000 rebate, go figure!
Bring or don't bring it, just quit being fickle about the whole thing & release what's going on. And if they produce 'em in a 4-door OR a 4 bang...

It is quite sad that Camaro and Mustangs were subjected to the 4 banger. Ford made the Cobra with a 4 cylinder....

jees, once im out of college man, im going to buy me a 1990 iroc and restore it the right way. sparing no expense. dont worry, the interior and exterior will look like they are suposed to, but i plan to add technology into the car to make it more year 2000+ compliant. like adding sound dampners in the walls so your ride is quieter iduno about you but my car is rather noisy on the inside depending on the pavement. also upgraded engine and suspension and everything. but im not getting rid of the third gen look in the slightest. i love it. (rims dont count, i would like something similar to pauls, torque thrust II's i believe they are called)

That is similar to what I want to do.

I want a black IROC and would like to drop an LS2 and T56 tranny in it. Then I may even give it a squires turbo. I want to keep it original looking though.
