Well, I'm glad that there's others that don't like the looks of this car -- thought I was all alone. Strange thing is though -- I like it better everytime I look at it. The interior is awesome if the pics are anywhere close to the actual look -- makes me want to slide in there and feel the beast within, lol. But the exterior reminds me of a combo Vette/Mustang -- strange combo to me.

I guess we'll see what happens. I'd rather it be produced rather than shelved though -- if they can keep the price range similar to the Mustang I think they'll be just fine. However, if I were a Dodge fan (and I can assure you I am not) I would love to have that Challenger -- now that's a cool looking car. Then again, Dodge has always had great designs -- too bad they don't run worth crap and fall apart as soon as you're done making the payments.

For people who think it looks too much like a Mustang; you can't forget that the '67 Camaro was a blatant rip-off of the '65 Mustang. There are several subtle cosmetic differences of course (and all for the better,) but there are many similarities. Only in '70 and above did they start looking completely different.

If Ford went back to original Mustang styling, and Chevy goes back to original Camaro styling: Yeah they are going to look similar again.

Well, watching the stock trading updates and junk, looks like gm has fallen and will be lowering prices on vehicles and stuff. So the new camaro could become a prototype only and never come into production. These things are not good for introducing a new car especially their muscle/sport line. Makes your wonder if the Corvette will eventually come to a dead halt. I hope they can keep up and release the new camaro into production myself. Its not all that bad, but, i do think that they could change a few things here and there.

I have never seen the mustang looking like a camaro or the other way around. They both have a short rear and long front but they look totally different to me.
