Hey all, new to the boards obviously, the Camaro has always intrigued me. I of course like the first and second generation but being a young man, 19 years of age, my financial status does not allow me to possess such a ride. Im from Halifax, Nova Scotia; not the nicest place to raise a sports car/muscle car but im trying. I don't currently own a Camaro but im trying to get a Third generation Z28 or IROC. I searched Nova Scotia but didn't come up with much on these boards. I like the Car relatively stock im not the stereotypical 19 year old car driver who wants to drive his little civic that he bought a new muffler for, i like the older fashion muscle cars and im just here to learn as much as i can and hopefully get some guidance from any members in my region or not on how would be the best way to acquire one, such as where to search for around my region and just general information about my dream car. While i like speed im also not a hothead i respect these vehicles and appreciate them on all levels. So that about sums it up, i can't wait to learn and eventually get my own and have the advice of members of this community backing me up.

Welcome, just got hear myself. My Z28 was my first car at 18 yrs old and 6 yrs later is still my first and only car. Really gives you a sense of pride to work on one and it gets far more looks then any little tuner. Other drivers always let me cut in on heavy traffic and little tuner jobs try to race me everywhere. They just don't understand why their muffler isn't giving them the advantage

thanks for the warm welcome, the weather is alright right now, we are supposed to get a warm week this week but still a crap load of salt, which of course is terrible. But yeah its more or less alright, i can get early spring to late October out of a camaro i believe we will see though, And FYI camarosource your 92 camaro is absolutely stunning, basically my dream right there, then 92 Z28 and you have the blue paint scheme i like ahaha.

Welcome aboard!
![]() Owning a Camaro is not required to be a member, just a passion for the cars we love! ![]() Hope you find your dream car. Keep an eye on the ads (Auto Trader, etc). Some of the best places when looking for a car is contacting some of the local car clubs or by checking out some show & shines. There are a lot that take place in Nova Scotia. Here is a link to many of the shows that were last year (2008 isn't out yet) . . . Nova Scotia Show & Shines 2007. There's even a Camaro show & shine in June! Here's a Camaro club in your neighbourhood. . . Maritime Camaro Club Here's another good link . . . Maritime Classic Car Clubs There is almost always somebody who is selling or know of someone selling. |
