Hey guys I was wondering if an original Sun super tach will work on a car with HEI ignition. P.S. this is the one piece tach not the older 2 piece
Thanks
Doug.

What do you mean by one piece and two piece? I have an old one in my Impala but I don't know how old it is. I don't see why it wouldn't work, just hook it to the TACH terminal in the distributor.

On the older tachs (pre 1964) they had a relay box between the tach and the distributer mine does not I believe it is a 1965 it even has a 10k limit :) my dad used it when he raced his Z in the 70's
