Where Did You Hear Of Camarosource.ca?: trying to find a vin decoder so I seen this site.
Hello all, I was searching around for different blowers for SBC's and came across this one,

http://www.jegs.com/i/Weiand/925/7740-1 ... tId=763758

I was curious to what you all think of it. I know it wouldnt be suited for anything really built, but along the lines of a mildly built 350.

Im in the process of building a engine for a rat rod that consist of a 350 sb that has been mildly built. No where near consitered a power house or ground shaker.

Just trying to get an idea, do you think its worth the price or even the effort? All opinions are gladly appreciated.

Thanks in advanced..

This is a roots type supercharger, which is very simple in design (read few parts to break) , and can produce large amounts of boost while spinning at very low speeds.

The big disadvantage to the roots type supercharger is it can get really hot, so if you may need to run an intercooler to get the most bang for your buck.

Bottom line, expect goodpower gains right off of idle if you use one, and know it won't break, and it would look and sound cool in a rat rod!
