Just wanted to show everyone the newest addition to my collection. Actually this will be my daughters show car after I redo a few things, but none the less, it will be in the garage with the other 3.

Since you couldn't normally get a Camaro convertible from 1970 - 1987 at your local Chevy dealership, they all had to be custom made. While there were a number of different businesses that would do such modifications (Custom Coach Convertible, Auto Form, Choo Choo Customs), the most popular 2nd gen conversions were created by an outfit called National Coach Engineering out of Port Schenlic, Michigan. I've heard the number of conversions was around 400, so they are very rare.

Thumper II could probably tell us the story much better for his beutiful ride. :)

W0W, I have never seen one of those. And rightfully so, as they didn't make them. But I've never even seen a custom one. Very cool - that will definitely turn heads. I'm not quite sure if the spoiler would look good on it or not though, since the angle coming from the top looks almost too "sharp" with the top up. Either way, it's awesome. I'll catch up with you one day (I plan to have a 67, 70-73, 76-81, 94-99, 00-02, 09+) - I would say though, it's about time to remove the "Future Classics" plate - as this thing is definitely classic.

1988 Camaro RS (T-tops, 5.0L V8, 5-speed)

1987 Jeep Wrangler (4.0L, 5-speed, fully waterproofed interior, 4" lift, 33x12.5R15 Pro Comps)
