anyone know the WA code for mystic teal metallica (code 79 by GM)? they don't make the paint anymore so i need the wa code. i looked on the driver door rpo sticker, checked the spare tire cover etc, checked everywhere can't find the damn code thanks !

take it to orilies they have a gun that tells you what your paint is...and its free...atleast around here anyways

But as mentioned before, if you are only matching a section of car, you are best to go to a shop and have them computer match.

If you take this approach, be sure to take the sample shot where the paint isn't faded or damaged. If the exterior paint is original, after 27 years it's clearly not the true original colour anymore (fading, UV damage, oxidization, etc) . Look for spots like under the trunk lid, inside doors, etc.
