Where Did You Hear Of Abob visited me in a dream and told me about it.
So I bought a regulator from a guy breaking a camaro as I thought that's why my drivers windows doesn't work right - we took it apart about 2 years ago, found a split bit of metal and I thought it was part of the regulator...

Took it apart gain at the weekend and it's actually the metal bar bolted through the glass that runs along the bottom of the window. It has a slot for a stabilising runner and the slots got all mangled. Now the metal slider doesn't stay in the runner.

Are these easy to replace? I'd like to get it sorted at some point...nothing worse than pulling into a car park and having to "help" the window back up when you stop!
