Chevrolet records also show four RPO
1LE1988 models built. Anecdotal evidence suggests that four
RPO 1LE's were exported to Canada, so the total production
may actually be eight (8). The eight (8) figure has been
quoted verbally by Chevrolet employees.
•
Cloth high-back bucket seats were
included in all models at no charge. Custom Interior,
including deluxe cloth seats with adjustable headrests, cost
$277.00 with all models. Custom Interior, including
leather-trimmed seats with adjustable headrests, cost
$750.00 with all models.
•
The base V6 for Sport Coupes was 173ci,
135hp. The base V8 for Sport Coupe Convertible, IROC-Z Coupe
and Convertible was 305ci, 170hp.
•
RPO B2L (350ci engine) was available only
with IROC-Z Coupe and automatic transmission. RPO B2L was
sometimes designated L98.
•
RPO B48 (deluxe luggage trim) cost $84.00
with IROC-Z Coupe; not available with convertibles.
•
RPO C49 (rear window defogger) was not
available with convertibles.
•
RPO D27 (locking storage) was included
with RPO B48 on Sport Coupe.
•
RPO G80 (limited slip axle) required RPO
L03 engine with Sport Coupe.
•
RPO LB9 (305ci engine) was optional only
with IROC-Z Coupe and Convertible. Power rating was 220hp
with manual transmission.
•
RPO N96 (16-inch aluminum wheels)
included wheel locks and RPO QDZ P245/50VR16 blackwall
tires. Optional only with IROC-Z Coupe and IROC-Z
Convertible.
•
RPO UM7 (AM-FM stereo with seek/scan and
clock) was no cost with base Sport Coupe and Sport Coupe
Convertible packages, and not available with other models.
RPO UU8 Delco-Bose stereo wasn't available with any
convertibles. All other radios were available with all other
models. Prices varied according to option packages.
•
FCA1 had RPO UM7 radio. FCA2 had A01,
B84, C60 and UM7. FCA3 had A01, A31, A90, B34, B35, B84,
CD4, C60, C95, K34, N33 and UM7. FCA4 same as FCA3 plus AU3,
D42, TR9, TT4, UM6, less C95 and UM7.
•
CCA1 had TR9 and UM7. CCA2 had A01, B84,
C60, TR9 and UM7. CCA3 had A01, A31, B34, B35, B84, CD4,
C60, K34, N33, TR9 and UM7. CCA4 same as CCA3 plus AU3, TT4,
UM6, less UM7.
•
FZA1 had RPO UM7 radio. FZA2 had AU3,
A01, A31, A90, B34, B35, B84, CD4, C60, K34, N33, TR9 and
UM6. FZA3 same as FZA2 plus AG9, C95, DG7, D42, TT4, UX1,
less UM6,

CZA1 had TR9 and UM7. CZA2 had AU3, A01,
A31, B34, B35, B84, CD4, C60, K34, N33, TR9 and UM6. CZA3
same as CZA2 plus AG9, DG7, TT4, UX1, less UM6.
